How long does it take for a website to be completed?

The timescale of a project is generally dictated by the client. If you have a deadline in mind we will endeavour to meet it for you. The most common delay in the creation of a site is waiting for content (text/images) to be sent to us by the client.

What is the process of website design

If you would like to use our services all you need to do is inform us of the domain name you would like to use and send us a brief idea of your requirements. We will then purchase the domain in your name, purchase the right hosting package for your project and then based on your guidance,design an initial web page for you.

Do I need to buy a domain name and hosting?

No, we do everything for you.

How much do websites cost?

The cost of a website varies, depending upon the type of site you require. A basic site will cost approx £350, a simple ECommerce site £950, a complex ECommerce site/Database Driven site £1000+. Obviously each site has to be treated on it's individual requirements, but these figures should give you an idea of a ballpark figure. We request a 25% deposit in all cases and will consider taking payment by installments if necessary. Payment can be made by cheque, Bank transfer or by using Payal. The only ongoing cost will be your annual hosting fee.

What happens if i contact you ?

If you are making an enquiry about a possible site you would like created, please provide a brief outline of your requirments. We will then mail you back promptly with an idea of price/timescale and any suggestions with regard to your project. You are not obliged to use our services at any stage during this process, so feel free to use the form to ask any related questions you may have.

Do I need to send a deposit for the work?

Yes we generally ask for a 25% deposit from clients.

Do i need to have FTP software?

FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is a method of transferring files (web pages for example) from your local PC to your web server. There are a variety of free ftp software programs available on the Internet and they enable you to update your website pages at any given time. When a hosting package is purchased 'ftp details', consisting of the host name, User ID and password are sent to us. Upon completion of the website and receipt of payment for any work carried out, we then send these details to the client.

How do I get listed in Google/Yahoo etc?

We submit all websites we design to Google, Yahoo! and DMOZ.

What is Online Marketing?

All web pages should be 'optimised'. This will enable your site to gain a high search engine ranking, it revolves around the meta tags on your web pages, a web page that isn't optimised won't appear in the search engines to any great degree. For more on optimisation click here.

Do we need to meet up ?

In the majority of cases a meeting isn't necessary and 90% of our sites are generally completed with contact via email and telephone only.

What type of aftersales support do you offer?

After the completion of a website project we are available for after sales service. Any slight tweaks or amendments are carried out to the site free of charge in the first month. Any support thereafter will be charged at an hourly rate of £55.
